Iris' Art Group members have painting at home during the lockdown.
We re-start at the Village Hall on 22nd July.
The sea
"All things bright and beautiful"
Portraits
Black and white
Our theme here is "inspired by a great artist". The idea is to interpret rather than produce a copy - but this does not mean we continue to paint whatever subject we wish to.
This finely rendered picture by Judy is given space in our gallery to show its detail - and of course the subject

The following are on the theme of "water" - Willows Lakes (top left) and Day's ponds off Church Lane bottom (left and right).
The bridge pictures in the centre were copied from a photograph by Allan Pettigrew posted on BBC website"your pictures in Scotland" and was an exercise in careful drawing and reflections.
The theme for May was rainbows and the "view from my window" - but we also paint what inspires us.
The theme for our April session was "Spring". Spring flowers inspire. And tea sustains us, while we are are confined. And we keep on painting what inspires us, like a lovely wharf and cottages
